The role

We are seeking a motivated and confident Computer Science or IT for Business Graduate to be based at one of our businesses within the British Engines Group.

This exciting opportunity provides the chance to be an active part of a team of developers working with new technologies and new business projects to resolve business issues using the IFS ERP System. There will be a requirement to work across other teams, and engage successfully with various internal stakeholders.

Graduate recruits are provided with a personal development program, which will see them gain experience across a range of activities to develop their commercial awareness and project management ability alongside their core skill set.


The person

Anyone interested in joining British Engines should be either a recent graduate or expecting to graduate with at least a 2:1 in the discipline of Computer Science or IT for Business. They should have a basic knowledge of querying databases using PL/SQL or T-SQL and a basic understanding of simple programming techniques.

A successful candidate will demonstrate an aptitude for learning and exploring possibilities, be capable of working within time constraints, and have a confident and motivated approach to problem solving.
